Today we had a well-earned day off from trekking. Nothing to do but to service our gear and rest up. We all slept in; nobody moved a muscle before midday.

In the afternoon, we made miscellaneous repairs to our gear: serviced our skis and poles; check our electronics and communications equipment; and mended any torn or worn clothes.

This has been an important day's rest; more such days have been scheduled as the trek progresses. Tomorrow, we continue on our Stroll-to-the-Pole.

All is well with the Expedition.
