The day has once again been used for food packing, and for searching high and low for dried meat: we know we stashed it somewhere, but where? After dinner, we skied a short distance out on the marine ice-sheet and pitched camp for the night. So this is our first diary entry from camp. The objective is to test tent-erection routines, to organize our gear logically inside the tents, and to fine tune the boring details of tent-life.
Tomorrow morning we'll return to the civilized world of running water and electricity.
All is well with the Expedition.
