Brisk wind today – local weather station measured winds gusting to 40 m/s. On the other hand, the weather was really warm and wet; unseasonably so according to the locals. As a result, visibility was close to zero: finding the local police station was a major project.
Otherwise, we spent the day on tasks similar to those of recent days – packing food and fine-tuning our gear. Because of the mild weather, we didn't go out training today; just a short pulkha-run to the local shop to buy 160 litres of fuel and 6 litres of orange juice. The juice cost 10 Canadian Dollars. Guess how much the Fuel cost?
All is well with the Expedition.
